Being a long-time knitter means for me to be a little obsessed with yarn. You can find it in different places at my home as I’m often knitting multiple items at the same time. At times though it gets a bit messy and my husband politely asks me to clean up the sofa from all the baby and knitting stuff so he can watch a video on a Friday night. Anyway, holding quality yarn in my hands always prompts me to think about the next project and that’s how I come up with queen-style ribbed knit beanie. IMHO, It’s a wonderful-looking, soft knit hat made with baby cashmerino aran yarn and a couple of simple stitches. Stick with me for a bit and you will add a new hat to your winter collection. BTW, this post has been lovely sponsored by LoveCrafts.
Knitting materials and knitting tools:
<> 5 Double Pointed Knitting Needles 4 mm (UK 8 or US 6). You can use 16” Circular Knitting Needles and magic loop technique to knit in the round;
<> Debbie Bliss (Cashmerino Aran) 55% Wool, 12% Cashmere, 33% acrylic. Baby pink color: 50 grams -90 m per skein – in total 2 balls;
Knit queen ribbed hat size:
Adult: 53-56 cm
Gauge: 29 sts per 4 in (not stretched)
Note for knitters:
While knitting the hat remember that inside side of the hat is the one that will be worn outside, so leave any yarn tails and knots on the outside. After you finish knitting, turn the hat inside out.
Common abbreviations of knitting stitches:
k – knit
p – purl
k3tog – knit three together
Queen ribbed knit hat pattern:
Body of the ribbed hat:
Сast on 100 stitches or any other number that is divisible by 4. Join to knit in the round. Place marker if needed. Rib k1, p1 until hat reaches desired length. You can make the hat slouchy or with folded brim. Rib for about 20-21 cm. (50-55 rounds)

Hi,
I would appreciate if you please explain what this means “ Do not purl the last stitch of previous round.”. Do i just slip the last stitch over to the needle on the right?
Hi Jazzy I answered you on Ravelry
Can you leave the answer here? I have no idea what that means…or “do not knit the last stitch and go on with [next] Round…” 🥴
Last stitch will be counted as the first stitch of the next round. Is it more clear?
