How I started knitting

CH Knitting

Hi, my name is Ann and I’m passionate lover of knitting, crochet and other handmade crafts. This is one of my hobbies along with learning foreign languages and watching asian movies (mainly Korean daramas). English is not my mother tongue, that’s why you might occasionally find grammatical mistakes and typos in the posts, even though I try to improve all the time and double check every post with a help of Microsoft Word :). At the moment I also learn Italian and Korean languages, but it’s not that easy for me to keep up with everything, so sometimes I’m lagging in one of the hobbies and you might not find weekly updates here just because I’m busy with other things.

I’ve started my handmade journey back in 2007 when I was studying in the university and found an interesting post about crocheted jacket for a kid in the internet. I really wanted to make a similar one, but didn’t know how to crochet it, so I started watching numerous crochet tutorials on youtube to learn crochet technics. Step by step I learned some basics and gradually crocheted my first kids bib and baby cocoon that I gifted to my roomie for her new born son. Later I also got to know basics of knitting and by now I feel confident in knitting even advanced and time-consuming patterns.

Back then I created my first crochet blog to share my creations and get inspired from others. I like surfing blogs and works of different people to find something lovely and, of course, learn some knitting and crochet tips and tricks. I’ve also tried myself in felting, decorative soap making, ribbon and beads needlework, decoupage and others, but knitting and crocheting are my true passions. I hope that through my posts I’ll be able to transfer you a piece of enthusiasm and trendy knitting patterns to try yourself. I’ll do my best to answer all your questions when I have a free minute, so don’t hesitate to ask or leave a comment below the posts. That’s all – enjoy here always free knitting patterns, crazy knitting ideas and lovely masterpieces!

PS: if you see a bit odd text structure – this is due to my first steps in SEO to have a better rank in google search.
PPS: if it doesn’t bother you much – I’d be more than grateful to you for sharing the content you like with friends who might be interested in it.
PPPS: I know that ads sometimes might be annoying, but this is what helps me sustain the life of a website, so please don’t hate me too much because of that…

Thanks a lot for visiting my blog and have a great time here!
Cheers, Ann
