Crochet rose size:
About 10 cm. The size depends on the yarn’s weight and size of the crochet hook.
Common abbreviations of crochet stitches:
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
dc – double crochet
Crochet damask rose:
Ch 48.
Row 1: In 6th chain from hook, dc, ch1, *skip 2 ch, dc, ch2 dc in next chain – repeat from * till the end.
Row 2: ch3, turn, dc, ch2, 2dc in the first ch-2 space, *ch1, 2dc, ch2, 2dc in the next ch-2 space – repeat from * till the end.
Row 3: ch3, turn. 3dc in the first ch-2 space, *sl st in the ch-1 space, 6dc in the next ch-2 space – repeat from *4 times, **sl st in the ch-1 space, 8dc in the next ch-2 space – repeat from ** 4 times, ***sl st in the ch-1 space, 10dc in the next ch-2 space – repeat from *** 6 times.
Assembly:
Cut the yarn leaving 10 cm tail. Thread it on yarn needle. Roll up the strip to form a rose.
Now sew together all layers. Pay attention to the layer that is in the center, otherwise your rose may unfurl.

In the pattern page for the Damask rose you say, “If you are looking for the crochet leaf pattern, please check this tutorial”, but there’s no link and no named tutorial I can search for.” The only leaf pattern is for a lilac. Was this meant to be used for the Damask rose as well?
