Repeat Rows 19-22 until front piece reaches 19 cm. In my case I repeated Rows 19-22 eight more time.

Rows 55-64: k44, bringing the working yarn in front, slip last 2 sts.

Count 11 sts from the right and left side and place stitch markers. In the next row we are going to bind off all central stitches between stitch markers.

Row 65: k11, bind off next 24 sts, k9, bringing the working yarn in front, slip last 2 sts.

At this point we are going to start knitting right strap only.

Row 66: k9, bringing the working yarn in front, slip last 2 sts.

Rows 67-88: k9, bringing the working yarn in front, slip last 2 sts. Or knit the strap until it reaches 7 cm. Cut the yarn.

Let’s proceed with the second strap. Attach the yarn and start knitting the same Row 66 on the wrong side.

Repeat Rows 67-88 for the left strap.

Row 3-6: k62, bringing the working yarn in front, slip last 2 sts.

Row 7: k4, yo, k2tog, k52, k2tog, yo, k2, bringing the working yarn in front, slip last 2 sts.

Row 8: k62, bringing the working yarn in front, slip last 2 sts. (Knit all yo stitches through the front loop)

Rows 9-10: k62, bringing the working yarn in front, slip last 2 sts.

Repeat Rows 9-10 till the next buttonholes.  After that repeat again Rows 7 and 8.

Make in total 3 buttonholes on the right and 3 buttonholes on the left side. In my case I did them every 18 rows.

Bind off all stitches. Weave in ends. Sew buttons and enjoy your tiny masterpiece.
