Before stuffing the Christmas tree with polyfiber, you can embroider decorations using V-shaped stitches to give your tree a festive look. After that, add the stuffing. Cut the working yarn, leaving a 30–35 cm tail. Using a yarn needle and the Kitchener stitch, sew the bottom part closed. Check video tutorial for more instructions.
Knitting the trunk (brown color):
Pick up one leg (side) of the V-shaped knit stitches from the central 5–6 stitches. Then, using a second needle, pick up the same number of stitches from the row directly below, also inserting the needle into one leg of each V-shaped stitch. Attach the yarn and knit in a stockinette stitch in the round for 4–6 rounds. Add a bit of stuffing if desired, then seam the bottom closed the same way as you did for the bottom of the Christmas tree.
