After a slightly long break I’m back with a new and awesome looking knit pattern of slouchy hat with reindeers. It’s made with a mix of orange and white yarn, so you can feel the warmth of it even before wearing :). I also hope that you like the pattern of reindeers and pine trees. The hat itself is relatively easy and fast to knit project that looks great with or without a fur pom. Enjoy knitting this spectacular hat and let me know if you face any difficulties by leaving a comment below the pattern.

Knitting body of the reindeer hat:
In this round, we are going to increase. Please check my YouTube video on how to increase from the previous round. The total amount of stitches after increase round must be divisible by 4. Follow the chart and see how to knit increase round. (increase from each stitch where you see orange cells)
Round 1: [(inc, k1, k1, p2)- 4 times, k2, p2] – repeat 4 times.
From Round 2 and till Round 30 follow the chart. If you think your hat is already too long don’t knit last 2 rounds (29 and 30).
Shaping crown of the reindeer knit hat:
Round 1: [k18, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Round 2: [k17, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Round 3: [k16, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Round 4: [k15, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Round 5: [k14, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Round 6: [k13, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Round 7: [k12, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Round 8: [k11, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Round 9: [k10, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Round 10: [k9, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Round 11: [k8, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Round 12: [k7, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Round 13: [k6, k2tog] repeat 4 times.
Continue decreasing until you have 12 or 8 stitches on needles. This is how your crown will look after all decrease rounds. Cut yarn leaving 10 cm tail. Using hook or tapestry needle pull the yarn through remaining stitches securely. Don’t forget to weave in all ends.

80+16 = 96 stitches. Please check orange cells in the chart.
Hello,
What weight is this yarn? It is unavailable and I would like to substitute for another.
Thanks!
HI. There is no information about yarn weight on the label but this is what Ravelry says about this yarn : Bulky (7 wpi). It looks like bulky but thinner then for example Color Made Easy from Lion Brand
