This is my third project of how to knit out acrylic yarn leftovers, and I’m not looking for easy ways, like knitting a big blanket. I decided to knit something that will be useful and handy during the chilly autumn season. Check out my previous project Bear Baby Knit Romper for more inspiration. Today I am going to share with you how to knit a lovely baby headband with a bow using gorgeous texture of garter stitch. This pattern is created for beginner-level knitters and can be easily adjusted for any size. The headband is knitted for a 6 months old baby but if you follow easy-to-knit tutorial you will quickly find out how to adjust it for the adults. Headbands are really nice accessories for those ones who want to have a unique look with benefits of the hat. Take your needles and let’s have an interesting journey with me.

Hi, I have started knitting this pattern but unsure how long to make it. Do you have a recommendation for a 6 month to 1 year old. Thanks
Hi. The baby’s head circumference at this age is about 40 cm. Plus ties. But knit it a little bit shorter than 40 cm. Unfortunately I dont have this knit headband anymore to measure it.
