Crochet materials and tools:

Crochet bow butterfly size:
Length: 7 cm. But depends on yarn weight and hook size that you are going to use.

ch – chain
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
dc – double crochet
hdc – half double crochet

Bow butterfly’s tail:
Ch 13.
Work into the back ridge: Sl st in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 2 sl st, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, sl st in the last ch, ch 1, sl st in the same ch and continuing around the other side of the starting chain, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 2 sl st, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, sl st in the last ch. Join with sl st to the top of first st. Cut the yarn.
Bow butterfly’s body:
Ch 27.
Work into the back ridge: Sl st in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 hdc, 9 dc, 1 hdc, 2 sl st, 1 hdc, 9 dc, 1 hdc, sl st in the last ch, ch 1, sl st in the same ch and continuing around the other side of the starting chain, 1 hdc, 9 dc, 1 hdc, sl st, 1 hdc, 9 dc, 1 hdc, sl st in the last ch. Join with sl st to the top of first st. Fold the piece in half with right side facing, and join beginning and the end with sl st.
Form a bow, ch 7 and wrap this chain around the center together with a tail piece that you crochet before and join with sl sl into the first ch. Cut the yarn leaving long tail. Use the tail to sew the bow.
