Crochet Five Point Star Pattern

Let’s continue today with geometrical forms and crochet a five-pointed star, which is a bit more challenging than crochet a triangle. Five-pointed star could also be a decor element on its own or be used in a composition with other items. Experiment with various sizes and create a Christmas tree using a triangle and a small star at the top of it. Enjoy crocheting.

Crochet materials and tools:

<> Crochet hook 5 mm (H)

<> Bernant Handicrafter (4ply) – 100% cotton, 50 grams – French blue color.

Hi Jeanette. I was so happy and surprised at the same time to see your comment. I would like to help you but do not know how. Have you followed this video tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4anMU8diSBc&t=2s. If you think it is so fast there is a playback speed button in the left corner that will slow down the speed and you can clearly watch what I am doing. Did you get 15 sts after the first round? I can suggest also that you join not into the 3d chain when you finish crocheting the first row. Please let me know if you have already found oud the mistake. Ann

I like this star pattern, but I realized there is a mistake in the written instructions. They say after the tc of the point that you skip the next dc on the first row and sl st into the next one. The video says that you skip two dc. That is why the one woman was coming up with more than five points when following the written instructions.
