Knitting materials and tools:
Double pointed or circular (80 cm) needles 3.5 mm (US 4).
Caron, Simply Soft – 100% acrylic. Color A: white, Color B: red
Weight Category – (4) Medium. Quantity – 90 grams.
Yarn needle.
Common abbreviations of knit stitches:
k – knit
k2tog – knit two together
p – purl
Sl – slip
skpo - Slip, Knit, Pass Over: Slip one stitch to the right needle knitwise, knit in the next stitch, and drop this stitch off the left needle, insert the left needle into the slipped stitch, pass it over the knit stitch and it’s done.
Knit no-heel Santa socks size:
Size: US 7- 7.5 (24 – 24.5 cm). These socks do not have a shaped heel, so the size is determined by how long you knit them. The sock I knitted is 40 cm (about 15.75 inches).
Gauge: 19-20 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette

Knitting the ribbing and the body:
Color A:
Cast on 36 stitches or any other number multiple of 6, for example 42, 48 and so on. Join to knit in rounds.
Rounds 1-12: [k2, p2] – repeat around.
Change to Color B:
Round 13: knit all stitches around.
In Round 14 (the second round after the color change), slip the first stitch to make the jog and color transition smoother — the round will start as sl 1, k2. If you are knitting with one color, knit the first stitch instead — the round will start as k3.
Round 14: [k3, p3] – repeat around or
Round 14: sl 1, k2, p3, [ k3, p3] – repeat around.
Rounds 15-16: [k3, p3] – repeat around.
Rounds 17-19: p1,[k3, p3] – repeat 5 times, k3, p2.
Rounds 20-22: p2, [k3, p3] – repeat 5 times, k3, p1.
Rounds 23-25: [p3, k3] – repeat around.
Rounds 26-28: k1, [p3, k3] – repeat 5 times, p3, k2.
Rounds 29-31: k2, [p3, k3] – repeat 5 times, p3, k1.
Repeat Rounds 14–31 until the sock reaches the desired length. I repeated these rounds 4 times in total. At the end, work 1 round in plain stockinette stitch.
Change to Color A.
Forming the toe:
Round 1: [k1, skpo, k12, k2tog, k1] – repeat twice. (32)
Round 2: knit all stitches around. Slip the first stitch of this round if you’ve changed color, as explained above.
Round 3: [k1, skpo, k10, k2tog, k1] – repeat twice. (28)
Round 4: knit all stitches around.
Round 5: [k1, skpo, k8, k2tog, k1] – repeat twice. (24)
Round 6: knit all stitches around.
Round 7: [k1, skpo, k6, k2tog, k1] – repeat twice. (20)
Round 8: knit all stitches around.
Round 9: [k1, skpo, k4, k2tog, k1] – repeat twice. (16)
Round 10: knit all stitches around.
Round 11: [k2tog] – repeat around (8)
Cut the yarn, leaving a 15 cm tail. Thread it onto a tapestry needle and pull it through the remaining 8 stitches. Pull tight to close the toe, then weave in the ends on the wrong side.
