Hi Ann,
Thank you for sharing your creative patterns. The stretchy knit stitch is very intriguing, and I’d like to use it to knit a hat in the round. What adjustments do you suggest ? Would I omit the selvage stitches and use an odd number of stitches?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Happy Knitting!
Marilyn

Hi. I have tried knitting this stitch in rounds and i did not get the same result. I am going to try it again and will make a video because I really like the stitch and I also believe it will be perfect for hats.

I’m trying it now—I believe this stitch just requires a second row to come out in the round!

Round 1–as row 1 above, omitting the sel st

Round 2–[with yarn in front, insert right hand needle between st 1 and two on the left needle from back to front, yarn over and draw up a loop, purl two together] repeat to last st, purl

I could be wrong, tho?
