Knitting materials and tools:

<> DPN 4 mm (UK 8 or US 6)

<> Grignasco: Mambo: 36% cotton, 36% PC-Dralon, 28% polyester; 50 grams- 85 meters.

Common abbreviations of knit stitches:

kf – knit through the front loop

k2tog – knit two stitches together through the back loop

st(s) – stitch(es)

yo – yarn over

sel s – selvage stitch: always slip the first stitch purlwise, work to the last stitch, purl the last stitch.

M3 – make 3: knit in the back of two next stitches but do not let it off the left-hand needle, yo and again knit in the back of the same two sts and let it drop off the left-hand needle.

Knit net stitch instructions:

Cast on a multiple of 2 sts plus 2 selvage stitches.

Row 1(WS): sel s, *M3 repeat from *, sel s.

Row 2(RS): sel s, *kf, k2tog*, sel s.

Repeat Rows 1-2 to form pattern.
