<> Debbie Bliss (Cashmerino Aran) 55% Wool, 12% Cashmere, 33% acrylic. Baby pink color: 50 grams -90 m per skein.

Common abbreviations of knit stitches:

k – knit

p – purl

st(s) – stitch(es)

sel s – selvage stitch: always slip the first stitch purlwise, work to the last stitch, purl the last stitch

Knit backetweave stitch instructions:

Cast on a multiple of 8 sts, plus 6 extra sts, plus 2 selvage stitches.

Row1 (RS): sel s, * p4, k4 – repeat from *, p4, sel s.

Row 2: sel s, *k1, p2, k1, p4– repeat *, k1, p2, k1, sel s.

Row 3 (RS): Repeat Row 1.

Row 4: Repeat Row 2.

Row 5: (RS): Repeat Row 1.

Row 6: Repeat Row 2.

Row 7 (RS): sel s, *k4, p4, – repeat from *, k4,  sel s.

Row 8: sel s, *p4, k1, p2, k1– repeat *, p4, sel s.

Row 9 (RS): Repeat Row 7.
