Knit slipper socks size:
Size: US7/7.5, EU 37/38
Using these simple calculations, you will be able to knit any slipper’s size.
To have a better sock fit – make it 10% smaller: Size 7 = 24 cm sole – 10 % = 22 cm
Foot opening length – 11 cm for all sizes.
Instep: 22-11 = 11 cm
Sock height (width) – 10 cm all sizes
Gauge: 16 sts – 4 inches (10 cm)
Common abbreviations of knitting stitches:
k – knit
p – purl
st(s) – stitch(es)
p2tog – purl two together
k2tog – knit two together
sel s – selvage stitch: always slip the first stitch knitwise, work to the last stitch, purl the last stitch.
Viola two-needles slipper socks knitting pattern:
MAKE TWO.
Using long tail cast on methods, cast on 40 stitches.
Row 1-34: sel s, k38, sel s.
Or repeat Row 1 until piece measures 10 cm.
Bind off all stitches. Do not cut the yarn. When you have last stitch on your needle, pick up 16 more stitches along the short side, inserting the needle underneath each selvage stitch (17 stitches). The number of stitches depends on the number of rows you have done before. I have knitted 34 rows so the final number that I am going to pick up along the short side is 17. After that pick up 17 more stitches along the other side.
34 stitches on your needles. Turn.
Row 1: sel s, *slip next st holding working yarn in back, p1 – repeat from * till the end, sel s. Turn.
Row 2: sel s, *k1, p1– repeat from * till the end, sel s. Turn.
Row 3: sel s, *k1, p1– repeat from * till the end, sel s. Turn.
Row 4: sel s, *k1, find the bar that were formed when you let working yarn in back, insert the right-hand needle underneath the bar, after that insert the needle in the next stitch and knit the bar and stitch together – repeat from * till the end, sel s. Turn.
Row 5: sel s, *p1, slip next st holding working yarn in back– repeat from * till the end, sel s. Turn.
Row 6: sel s, *p1, k1– repeat from * till the end, sel s. Turn.
Row 7: sel s, *p1, k1– repeat from * till the end, sel s. Turn.
Row 8: sel s, * find the bar that were formed when you let working yarn in back, insert the right-hand needle underneath the bar, after that insert the needle in the next stitch and knit the bar and stitch together, k1 – repeat from * till the end, sel s.
Repeat Row 1-8 until this part reaches 11 cm or the number you’ve got for instep/
Next Row: sel s, p2tog till the end, sel s. Turn.
Next Row: sel s, k2tog till the end, sel s.
Cut the yarn, leaving the tail at least 50-60 cm.
Using yarn needle, thread the tail through remaining stitches, fold slipper holding it right side out and sew sole as it is shown in the video. Insert the needle from front to back underneath selvage stitch of the piece that is further from you, after that insert the needle from back to front underneath selvage stitch of the piece that is closest to you. In this way go on sewing the sole till the heel. Thread tail through last 10 stitches (5 sts on one side and 5 stitches on another side) to round a little bit the heel. Check video for more instructions.
Cut the yarn and weave in ends.

Hi Tina, I do not have for this pattern ads- free version. Sorry
I just love your videotutorials! Thanks for guiding me through these slipper socks!
I’m going to make a pair for my cousin for a birthday gift! Since I’m not an avid knitter, I hope I will find this pattern easy to make… it’s certainly a pretty slipper pattern!
I love making these slippers. I was wondering if it would be allowed for me to sale these slippers. I have made a few changes to the pattern but I didnt know if it would be allowed. If I can’t, I will just enjoy making them and giving them as gifts. They are very nice slippers and I enjoy making them. Thank you for the pattern.
Hi Pam. Surely you can sell them. If it possible please mention my site. Wish you a good luck!
