Crochet Rib 1×1 Yarn Over Slip Stitch Pattern

This crochet ribbing resembles knit ribbing where you knit 1, purl 1.

Common abbreviations of crochet stitches:

ch – chain

sl st – slip stitch

st – stitch

yo sl st blo – yarn over slip stitch: yarn over, insert the hook into indicated stitch through the back loop, yarn over again and pull up a loop. Now you have three loops on your hook. Pull the last loop through the other two.

yo sl st – yarn over slip stitch: yarn over, insert the hook into the next ch, yarn over again and pull up a loop. Now you have three loops on your hook. Pull the last loop through the other two.

Crochet 1×1 yarn over stitch pattern:

1. 1. Start with a slip knot. Chain 8. Plus 1 extra.
   2. 1 yo sl st into the 2^nd ch from hook, 1 yo sl st in each of remaining ch, turn.
