Crochet rhomboid leaf pattern:
Chain 11. SC in 3d chain from hook, HDC in the next, 2 DC in the next, TR in the next, 2TR in the next, TR in the next, 2 DC in the next, HDC in the next, work [SC, ch1, SC] in last chain. Now working on the other side of the chain, HDC in the next, 2DC in the next, TR in the next, 2TR in the next, TR in the next, 2 DC in the next, HDC in the next, SC in the last sl st. At this point you can cut the yarn if you do not want the leaf with a stem and stalk.
For the leaf with the stem, ch1, sl st, and now insert the hook in the center of your leaf, yarn over and pull through the leaf and the loop on the hook, continue working the slip stitches all the way up the center of the leaf. At the end ch 6. Cut the yarn and weave in ends.

Hi!!
Would increasing hook and/or yearn size make these leave bigger or would they just look silly? 😅 Still fairly new to crochet, but excited to try these!
Thank you,
Veronica
Yes, right. Increase both yarn weight and hook size
Had no idea trebles would be so painful… lol! Beautiful pattern, however. I’m very eager to use these leaves on my tulip garland 🥰
Patience only patience )))) Wish you a good luck! 🙂
Thanks so much for this. Really good. Not a great double treble fan but with slower pace they work…😉
Thank you Micki. Do not give up

How did you get the centre line on the leaf to show like in the picture?
Please check video tutorial
I don’t understand the instruction for the stem where it says put the hook in the centre of the leaf. As the yarn is still attached to the bottom of the leaf it doesn’t look right to me as it is kind of gathered?
did you check video instruction?
what is the 3d in the first line after ch 11? Thanks
