Dove ribbed knit hat size:
Adult: 53-58 cm
Gauge: 22 sts – 4 inches (10 cm) – in ribbing 1×1
Common abbreviations of knitting stitches:
k – knit
p – purl
p3tog – purl three together
Body of the dove ribbed knit hat:
Сast on 76 stitches or any other number that is divisible by 4. Join to knit in the round. Place marker. Rib k1, p1 until hat reaches desired length, in my case it is 24-25 cm. You can make the hat slouchy or with folded brim.
Shaping the crown of dove ribbed knit hat:
Divide all stitches in half and place marker. Also place markers after the 3rd stitch and after the 41st stitch. Now you have 4 stitch markers on your needles.

I see you use the traveling loop method. Interesting. I generally use a 16″ circular needle. Do you find this method of the traveleing easier? Thanks

I would prefer 16″ circular needles instead of magic loop (travelig) method )))
