Using long tail cast on methos, cast on 38 stitches or any other number multiple of 4 plus 2 selvage stitches.
Row 1: sel s, k1, [p2, k2] – repeat 8 times, p2, k1, sel s. Do not forget you always knit the last selvage stitch.
Row 2: sel s, p1, [k2, p2] – repeat 8 times, k2, p1, sel s.
Repeat Rows 1-2 until piece measures 38 cm. You can knit socks shorter or longer.

Row 1: sel s, [skpo, p1, k1] – repeat till the end, sel s.
Row 2: sel s, p1, k1, [p2, k1] – repeat till the end, p1, sel s.

Cut the yarn, leaving the tail at least 50-60 cm.

Cut the yarn and weave in ends.
