I think I’m a good good at knitting but I do find the explanation a bit complicated. Can you tell me what ply wool in we need Australia
Many thanks I really want to knit the scarf
Hi Susan. I am not sure about ply as i do not use this system. I do not think it matters for the scarf a lot. Choose yarn that has 90-100 meters per 50 gramms ball
Wish you would do English style. I am lost as you know what. The yarn over is confusing.
Sorry to hear it but how it can be confusing. Just make a yarn over with English style, I do not think it differs.
Do you have this pattern in the round?
yes https://crazyhands.net/sunnyside-cable-knit-hat-pattern-fishermans-rib/
What weight yarn and size needles are needed? I really want to make this for my father it is so beautiful!
You can use 4 or 4.5 mm and medium worsted weight yarn
Thank you so much for sharing this pattern! At first, I thought it was a simple cable pattern, but was excited to discover it was brioche! I have tried brioche in the past, but could never understand the directions. Your video was excellent; your instructions were clear and I love the cable pattern! You made my day! ☺️
Thank you Ann for your lovely comment!
This is a beautiful pattern. Is it reversible?
yes, it is
Awesome pattern. Video very helpful and appreciated. Thank you.
Hi this looks like such a wonderful pattern and I’m so excited to try it! I just had a quick question – about how many meters did you need for your scarf? I’m not sure how many balls to purchase. Thank you so much!
I do not remember precisely but usually about 200-250 grams, depends on the length.
Great, thanks so much!
Since sts are added on Row 1, don’t we need to drop the yarn overs when we cast off to end up with 26 sts again? I’m asking because I was just doing a similar pattern, and that’s how it ended.
Thanks for this great pattern!
Anna
Hey. I usually k2tog yarn over and the stitch, but feel free to use the method you like the most.
