Two-needles seamless lace socks knitting pattern:

MAKE TWO.

Knitting a cuff of the socks:

 Cast on 21 sts.

Rows 1: sel s, [k1, p1] – repeat till the end, k1, sel s.

Rows 2: sel s, [p1, k1] – repeat till the end, p1, sel s.

Rows 3-16: Repeat Rows 1-2.

Row 17: sel s, [k1, p1] – repeat till the end, k1, sel s. At this point, ribbing should measure about 7-8 cm.

Place stitch markers on the selvage stitch one row below from both sides. If you do not have stitch markers use a piece of scrap yarn. Please do not miss this step, otherwise, it might be hard to join the sock correctly.

Knitting an ankle of the socks:

I also thought that writing 15 stitches of the lace part in brackets will be more comfortable in case you have a different initial number of stitches.

Row 1: sel s, k2, [k3, k2tog, k2, yo, p1, yo, k2, skpo, k3], k2, sel s.

Row 2: sel s, k2, [p7, k1, p7], k2, sel s.

Row 3: sel s, k2, [k2, k2tog, k2, yo, k1, p1, k1, yo, k2, skpo, k2], k2, sel s.

Row 4: sel s, k2, [p7, k1, p7], k2, sel s.

Row 5: sel s, k2, [k1, k2tog, k2, yo, k2, p1, k2, yo, k2, skpo, k1], k2, sel s.

Row 6: sel s, k2, [p7, k1, p7], k2, sel s.

Row 7: sel s, k2, [ k2tog, k2, yo, k3, p1, k3, yo, k2, skpo], k2, sel s.

Row 8: sel s, k2, [p7, k1, p7], k2, sel s.

Repeat Rows 1-8 once more. At this point, the sock should measure about 11-12 cm.

Again, place stitch markers on selvage stitch one row below from both sides.

Knitting a foot of the socks:

For the US size 7, repeat Rows 1-8 five more times. For the bigger size repeat more times. And the last time, place stitch markers on selvage stitch one row below from both sides.

Knitting a toe of the socks:

Divide all stitches into 3 parts.

21/3=7 sts – each part

Make decreases from both sides until you have 7 central stitches. If you have a different initial number of stitches, you might have a remainder after division. If the remainder is 1, add it to the central part, if it is 2, add one stitch to the right side and one stitch to the left side. Place stitch markers if necessary.

Row 1: sel s, k17, k2tog, sel s (20 sts)

Row 2: sel s, k16, k2tog, sel s (19 sts)

Row 3: sel s, k15, k2tog, sel s (18 sts)

Row 4: sel s, k14, k2tog, sel s (17 sts)

Row 6: sel s, k12, k2tog, sel s (15 sts)

Row 7: sel s, k11, k2tog, sel s (14 sts)

Row 11: sel s, k7, k2tog, sel s (10 sts)

Row 12: sel s, k6, k2tog, sel s (9 sts)

Row 13: sel s, k5, k2tog, sel s (8 sts)

Row 14: sel s, k4, k2tog, sel s (7 sts)

Knitting a sole of the socks:

Pay attention that some rows will not have a selvage stitch at the beginning.

Row 1: k7. With LHN pick up the front loop (closest to the right side of the sock) of the selvage stitch that is one row below. Poke it from front to back and purl it. Video: 19:34

Row 2: k8. With LHN pick up the back loop (closest to the right side of the sock) of the selvage stitch that is one row below. Poke it from front to back and purl it.

Row 3: k9. With LHN pick up the front loop (closest to the right side of the sock) of the selvage stitch that is one row below. Poke it from front to back and purl it.

Row 4: k10. With LHN pick up the back loop (closest to the right side of the sock) of the selvage stitch that is one row below. Poke it from front to back and purl it.

In this way go on picking up loops from both sides, until you reach stitch markers or until you have 21 stitches on your needles again.

Remove two stitch markers.

Next Row: sel s, k18, k2tog. With LHN pick up the front loop (closest to the right side of the sock) of the selvage stitch that is one row below. Poke it from front to back and purl it. (21 sts)

Repeat Rows 15-16 until you have 21 stitches again.

To get rid of holes that may appear in the corners of the heel, let’s add 2 more rows that also make the heel a little bit higher.

Next Row: sel s, k18, k2tog. With LHN pick up a bar between the previous and next row. Place it on the needle and purl it. Do not work in stitch with a stitch marker!!!
